The Graduate Program in Teaching (PPGEN) is aimed at teachers actively working in Basic and Higher Education, school coordinators and managers, as well as graduates whose interests are focused on teaching and research in Basic Education. The program aims to train professionals for research, teaching, and the development of products and methodological strategies for Basic Education that:

• Critically analyze the production of knowledge in the field of Teaching;
• Develop pedagogical practices and educational products that are theoretically grounded;
• Engage with the theoretical-methodological frameworks of pedagogical theories and teaching and learning processes;
• Contribute to improving teaching and educational indicators in the public education system, particularly in the state of Bahia.
