XII Geography Week

The XII Geography Week at the State University of Southwest Bahia (UESB) celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Geography Licentiate Degree Program, a landmark of significant contribution to teaching, research, and outreach in the Bahian and regional context. Since 1985, the program has trained hundreds of professionals, many of whom have passed public and private selection processes, including municipal, state, and federal public service examinations. Furthermore, numerous graduates have joined, and continue to join, the teaching staff of this and other Brazilian universities, expanding their social and educational background beyond their hometown of Vitória da Conquista.
