Em formato virtual, o Festival Petiz – Festival de Arte para Infância e Juventude chega a sua 4ª edição e, neste ano, conta com a parceria do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras: Cultura, Educação e Linguagem da Uesb em sua realização. O evento acontece de 7 a 9 de março, com programação sempre das 19 às 21h30.
Dentro do Festival, acontecerá o 6º Seminário Cultura, Infância e Juventude, que tem o intuito, nesta edição, de ampliar as discussões sobre o fazer teatral para crianças e jovens. A iniciativa é voltada para educadores, artistas, agentes comunitários e culturais e promoverá rodas de conversa sobre “O Teatro de animação e as possibilidades do criar” e “Pela construção de um imaginário antirracista”, além de um encontro com trocas de experiências na relação entre ensino e arte.
As inscrições podem ser feitas pelo site do Festival, onde é possível conferir a programação completa e todos os detalhes do evento. Para quem deseja apresentar trabalho dentro da proposta do evento, o prazo é até 27 de fevereiro. Na modalidade de ouvinte, o período final segue até 7 de março, primeiro dia do Festival.
Além do Seminário, o Festival Petiz realizará outras atividades, como a Feira do Troca-Troca, oficinas artísticas, visitas mediadas e mostra de espetáculos. Contemplado pelo Edital Setorial de Teatro 2019, o projeto tem apoio financeiro do Governo do Estado, através do Fundo de Cultura, da Secretaria da Fazenda, da Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia e da Secretaria de Cultura da Bahia.
Sobre o Festival – Criado em 2016, o Festival de Arte para Infância e Juventude é um projeto bienal de mediação cultural, fomento e difusão da produção artística voltada para infância e juventude.
